Frewer Engineering provides an engineering consultancy service to customers requiring design or design analysis in the field of air & gas piping and related equipment.

Client case

We performed design & structural analysis on a new aero engine pipework system for ducting hot air (750 degrees C) and high pressure (45 bar) in a demanding application within a very high vibrational environment. The work was designed to meet the latest EN standards for pressure systems and involved complex displacements and flexible bellows to compensate movements. This gave our customer a solution which had previously given them problems and had resulted in the equipment being on their critical path for the introduction of their product. We delivered a solution within a tight time frame allowing our customer to achieve their engine test targets.
