Cyber Essentials Plus Renewal

Frewer Engineering is pleased to confirm the successful renewal of our Cyber Essentials Plus certification, reaffirming our commitment to keeping your data safe and secure.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a UK Government-backed certification that involves independent, hands-on assessment of an organisation’s cyber security controls. It verifies that key systems are in place and operating effectively to defend against common cyber threats.

For our clients and partners, this certification reinforces our commitment to maintaining strong, reliable security standards. It helps reduce risk, safeguard sensitive information, and maintain the trust you place in us every day.

Maintaining this standard requires ongoing diligence, and we continuously review and strengthen our practices to stay ahead of evolving risks. This renewal reflects not just compliance, but a sustained commitment to strengthening our security practices.

As we move forward, we remain focused on delivering reliable, secure solutions you can depend on with confidence.

A Successful DPRTE

On the 25th and 26th of March our Managing Director, Richard Lock, and further members of the team attended DPRTE to showcase Frewer Engineering’s capabilities. DPRTE provides us a valuable opportunity to highlight our design and analysis engineering services, and how Frewer Engineering helps organisations to tackle complex engineering challenges.

The team met many familiar as well as fresh faces across the two days, offering a brilliant opportunity to discuss past, present and future projects. It was amazing to talk to so many people across the supply chain, and we hope it was the start of several new relationships. If you didn’t manage to catch us, it’s never too late to reach out. We look forward to staying in touch with those who visited!

Attendance at the Motorsport Industry Association’s EEMS26

This month, our Principal Engineer, Mark Webb, attended the Motorsport Industry Association’s Energy Efficient Motorsport 2026 event. With a strong background in motorsport, particularly in powertrain engineering, Mark brought valuable technical insight alongside a genuine passion for the industry.

The event offered a great opportunity to explore the latest developments in energy efficiency and the ongoing push towards a more sustainable future for motorsport. It also provided a platform to connect with industry peers and discuss the challenges and innovations shaping the sector.

During the event, Mark spoke with a number of potential clients about Frewer Engineering’s capabilities, highlighting how our design and analysis expertise can support high-performance applications in this demanding environment.

As motorsport continues to evolve, our expertise positions us well to contribute to this cutting-edge space—and with Mark now part of the team, we’re even better equipped to support the industry moving forward.

Presenting at Emixa’s Simulation Symposium

We’re pleased to share that our colleague, Dan Green, recently represented Frewer Engineering at the Simulation Symposium hosted by Emixa.

As part of the event, Dan delivered a presentation on our approach to composite modelling, highlighting the techniques we use to support accurate and reliable performance predictions. His session focused on how these methods help our clients make informed design decisions with greater confidence, particularly when working with complex composite structures.

Events like this provide a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, explore emerging challenges, and stay closely aligned with developments across the industry. Dan’s involvement reflects our ongoing commitment to sharing knowledge and contributing to the wider engineering community.

We’re proud to see our team actively engaging with peers and showcasing the expertise behind our work. Opportunities like this not only strengthen our partnerships but also ensure we continue to deliver informed, forward-thinking solutions for our clients.
