Latest News April 2019

April has seen four of our top engineers complete management courses to level 5 manager (Both Chris’s, Simon & Dharam). This helps us build our growing design teams direction and boosts our customer service to the next level!

Please read on for more of what we have been up to…

ADS Membership

Motorsport Design & Analysis

We are now a member of the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space (ADS) group. This membership is an important part of our company development in terms of aerospace and defence market growth. The ADS will give us assistance with personnel security clearances, the ability to network with potential clients and much more!

Gas Turbine Development Engineering

We have been active recently working on a variety of aero-engine gas turbine development projects for ground testing of future propulsion systems. This area of our business is one which is seeing much investment by us to facilitate larger and more complex challenges.

Submersible Marine Structures

Carbon composite structures for use in the marine defence industry continue to play a large part of our business activity. We are unique in that we can combine lightweight composite structures design along with Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis (CFD) to model the complex combination of fluid loading and structural optimisation.

Composite Structures

Advanced carbon and Eglass composite structures continues apace in our composites design team. Tackling complex vibration, strength optimisation and resisting buckling (non-linear analysis) is a regular theme for our engineers.

New Team Member: Sean

Sean joins us to strengthen our Mechanical Design and detail drawing service. Sean comes to us with 13 years’ experience in the aerospace industry as a mechanical design engineer and will be assisting us with some of our complex aerospace structures/assemblies design, along with our deployment of data management tools in design.

All Settled In

Our additional office space is now proving to be of great value, allowing us room to expand our engineering staff over the coming two months.

This coupled with all new servers and additional licences of NX 3D CAD and SIEMENS NASTRAN gives our customers a capability to resource larger and more complex projects.
